MOKURI
A Japanese woodblock print studio
Mokuhanga is the art of Japanese woodblock printing — carving into wood, inking by hand, pressing paper to reveal the print. Each impression is unique.

Mokuri Studio captures that spirit: compose, carve, ink, and print — embracing imperfection and the calm of creating with intention.
Compose
Place elements — landscape, flora, fauna — onto your block. Set atmosphere, horizon, and mist. Arrange and layer to design your scene.
Carve
Three gouges — fine, V, and U — for pressure-sensitive freehand carving. Apply patterns like crosshatch or woodgrain. Focus in for detail.
Ink
Ten traditional palettes — Sumi, Edo, Hokusai, and more. Customize color zones, add bokashi gradients, and stamp with a hanko seal.
Make Print
Six washi papers — Hosho, Kozo, Gampi, and more. Choose ink load and baren passes, then pull your print. Every impression is unique.
